As it gets colder outside we thought it would be fun to gather up some photos of Fermob indoors and accessorized with things to make it cozy! We found some great stuff...

On the first week of September, Leslie (our COO), Carol (our California Retail Rep) and I (Jen - Sales, Marketing, etc) traveled to France to visit the Fermob Factory/Headquarters for half a week of planning and training, and then a half a week of exploring Paris while attending Maison & Objet. It was the most incredible week - it really felt like a month! Fermob is growing like crazy all over the world and the US has only just begun to see the beginning of Fermob.

A couple of weeks ago the Consulate General of France held the Rock'n Petanque Block Party in New York City. The Marseille tradition of a Petanque Tournament was held with Rock Music playing in the background - combining French and American cultures! You may remember our blog post back in November  when Jared proposed to Emily while in New York. Well this weekend they finally tied the knot! The wedding was so sweet and joyful. It was the perfect backyard wedding with all their friends and family involved! Check out this video of their happy day...

Happy New Year from all of us here at FermobUSA! We're thrilled about what's to come in 2012.

Fermob offers well designed, durable outdoor furniture that is frequently purchased for homes, universities, hotels, resorts, restaurants, museums and even wineries. But one of the best places to put Fermob products are outdoor public spaces. You may know that Fermob products can be found all over New York City - like the Poppy Red Fermob Bistro chairs and tables in Times Square, the Cedar Green Bistro chairs in Bryant Park, the Luxembourg products in Brooklyn Bridge Park, and Bistro pieces at the High Line.

We're excited to announce that one of our sales team, Jared is engaged! He popped the question to his girlfriend Emily while in New York last week. After the Boutique Design show was finished, the two explored New York City together for a couple of days - during which he asked the question! We are so excited for them and would love to share some the photos from their adventure...can you tell Jared is a photographer? Ha!

If you've read our blog over the past year, you know that the Bistro Chairs found in Bryant Park in NYC are in fact our Cedar Green Fermob Bistro Chairs. They are perfect there, and have created an amazing sense of community in the park.

Feast your eyes on the new things coming available from Fermob! The Sixties Bench, Surprising Chair, Luxembourg High Chair and Table, the Plein Air Chilene, comfy cushions for Luxembourg and 1900's and the new Bellevie Table and Benches. The new black, Liquorice is textured - which we LOVE - and Chili is a new textured, deeper red.

While perusing through Apartment Therapy, we came across this incredible Boho Chic swim club in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Arrow Swim Club. This over 21 club was created out of an old warehouse in the middle of the city. You will spot Fermob Turquoise Alize side tables along side the sun loungers, as well as Lemon Luxembourg chairs and Turquoise Luxembourg Tables in their restaurant. This place looks so incredible. We might need to make a trip up there.

Leslie, Jim and Tom arrived back home in Atlanta yesterday afternoon after a half a week spent in Cologne, Germany training with Fermob. They had a great time meeting European reps and seeing (and trying out) Fermob's new furniture in person. Here are some photos from their trip...You'll notice shots of the Fermob retail store in Cologne and the Spogagafa trade show in Cologne.

We are so thrilled to share one of our new favorite Fermob installations! This is the Oakland Museum of California's Event Space covered in Cotton white Luxembourg chairs and Bistro Tables. This space was designed by Jensen Architects, who create some of the greatest looking modern spaces. Here is a snippet from their website about this project:

We were breath-taken this weekend by the beauty of the Madoo Conservancy. It felt unreal. The garden and beach community of Sagaponack are old and elegant with beautiful design that mimicks England. The event was lovely, here are just a couple of photos of the booth we shared with Sea Green Designs, one of our Partner Stores.

FermobUSA is bringing Fermob to the Much Ado About Madoo (and 80, too) Garden Market on Saturday June 18th! The Madoo Conservancy is located at 618 Sagg Main Street Sagaponack, NY 11962. The Garden Market will take place from 10am until 4pm and will include "Outstanding vendors offering plants, antiques and garden accessories/Children's events," and of course Fermob - As well as one of our great partner stores, Sea Green Designs.

Most of our team is now back in Atlanta while Tom stays for the last two days of the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York with the French Fermob team. It has been an exciting trip. This was our favorite booth design yet plus Fermob won one of the awards that was given out by ICFF!

We'd love to remind you that we'll be at ICFF this May in Booth 1253. The show is open to the Trade from Saturday, May 14th - Monday, May 16th from 10am - 5pm. And on Tuesday, May 17th the show is open to both the Trade and the Public from 10am - 4pm. Please come by and see us! We have a brand new gorgeous booth that's a must see.

Fermob in France recently launched their new website and we love it! Every time you refresh the page, a different color theme shows up. Its fun, creative and much simpler than the previous one. Take a look around if you like...we're in the process of giving our website a makeover to match the new Fermob branding, so keep an eye out for updates.

Have you gotten your hands on the brand new 2011 Fermob Consumer Catalogue yet? About a month ago I posted the video of the making of the catalogue. The new catalogue is much smaller (and much easier to mail, yay!) but it gets right to the point, with beautiful photographs and the stories behind each flagship collection. Fermob's Dune Side Chairs and Luxembourg Tables were both featured in the most recent edition of Southern New England Home in an ad for Flora Style along with a beaufitul article about "The Art of the Tabletop"....

During the first week in February Tom and Jared travelled to NYC to show Fermob at the New York International Gift Fair. During their trip they stopped off at Bryant Park where thousands of Fermob Bistro Chairs in Cedar Green sit covered in snow.
